Our niece Alexa turned one year old on Wednesday. Kristin and Patrick had the whole family and a few friends over tonight to celebrate the occassion with an awesome birthday bash. Grandma Lewis made Alexa the owl smash cake. At first Alexa didn't quite know what to think of it and just poked and pecked at the cake but after a while she got the hang of it as you can see above.
We arrived a little early just as Alexa was getting out of her bath. I was able to get a photo of Alexa in her "birthday suit" before the party started.
