September Wrap-Up!

Hey everyone!  Remember me?  I'm still here in case you got worried and I sure have a lot of catching up to do!

The last things I wrote about were our Duluth trip and our hayride fun.  I'm going to do a quick recap of the other September happenings for our family.

Well, the biggest thing for me was that I actually received a promotion at Young America to be an Account Representative!  There has been a lot of action in our department the past couple months with four individuals leaving.  Since I was newly promoted I was given some of my own accounts and it has been crazy at work ever since!  Just in the last two months I was given three accounts to manage.  I had been helping out on T-Mobile for close to a year but it is so different to go from just assisting to managing the entire account.  I was also put on Anheuser-Busch Wholesaler Incentives.  This one is completely different from rebates so it's been a struggle to learn.  The third account is Eaton which is another partner incentive program.  These three accounts definitely wear me out during the day and is another reason why I haven't done any blogging for awhile - I needed a break from the computer!

Halfway through September a couple of us from work actually traveled to Anheuser-Busch for a meet and greet.  It was a fun trip and great to meat our day to day contacts.  Here is a picture of me and Jack the Clydesdale!

Last bit of September news is that right after the awesome hayride late September, my sister Rachel and her boyfriend Nate got engaged!  We couldn't be happier for the two of them.  It's going to be a busy spring.  John and I both have our youngest sisters getting married.  And Megan and Owen will be in both weddings - how exciting!!!

Just thought I would share one more picture from a wedding we attended Labor Day weekend.  John and the two girls all dolled up.  I wish it was still nice enough outside to wear sleeveless dresses!

Hayride!!

Yesterday was a dreary Friday night but the Friday before was absolutely perfect for a hayride!  Thanks to my wonderful sister for coordinating it between our family and her now fiance Nate's family!  We had so much fun.  All of the sibling-in-laws and grand kids took turns driving my dad's Farmall B tractor through the field road connecting two family friend farms.  We also had a quick stop at their main farm to look at the barn and cows.  Truly enjoyable evening!

I'll start you off with my absolute favorite picture from the night... My favorite two dudes!

Believe it or not, this was John's first time driving a tractor.  He handled it rather well and was smiling from ear to ear!

Here's the gang.

And here's John and me since we were missing from the group shot above :)

Plaid was definitely the pattern of choice for the evening.

Ok, I couldn't figure out which Owen picture was my favorite so I'm giving you them all.

The kids and their Papa!

These pictures are from before the hayride started but we literally had to pry Owen's fingers off from around the steering wheel.  He was in his glory.
