Meet Megan

Hi!  My name is Megan Kristine.  I've been in this world about 3 1/2 weeks now, since March 14th.  I weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long when I was born.  I have dark blue eyes which are getting lighter every day and strawberry blonde hair.  Mom says this is the color hair she had when she was my age.  I love my Mom and Dad; they are the best parents ever and I keep them really busy.  I am good at sleeping, eating, looking cute, burping and spitting up, looking cute, pooping, and did I mention looking so cute?!  I have a good set of lungs which I am keeping in shape so I can sing to Jesus in church when I get older.  I didn't use to like getting my diaper changed but it's not so bad any more, especially when Mom and Dad play my favorite song, Twinkle Twinkle.  When Daddy's home I get to curl up with him and watch TV in bed.  It's so comfy sleeping with him.  I love the milk Mom gives me to drink, now that's some good home-cookin'.  In fact, last night I drank over 9 ounces of it in about 3 hours!  It's helping me get really big and strong.  You should see how I can hold up my head already! 

When I grow up I want to be a stellar musician like Mom and I want to be Dad's Minnesota sports fan buddy.  But right now I just want to look cute and be a joy to everyone I meet.  That's not too hard since Mom says I have a smile that makes her heart melt.  I love spending time with my grandparents and other family members too.  They are great babysitters while Mom and Dad go to rehearsals, work, and go on dates.
